There's definitely a northward component to the precip shield. 3 hours ago, the furthest north part of the shield was at the latitude of Trenton, an hour ago, the furthest north part of the shield was at the latitude of Allentown-Coney Island and now the furthest north part of the shield is at the latitude of the Bronx. Now that northern fringe is likely very light snow, but I'm at least hoping some light-moderate snow makes it our way in the Edison area and gives me at least 1-2".

Those monster bands really delivered. Woke up to about 3/8" of snow around 6 am and could see it was over. Quite a bust, especially on Sunday night, where Central/North Jersey/NYC/LI were all still in an advisory for 3-6" until around 9:30 pm and warnings were still up for Mercer/Monmouth for 4-8". Not sure if anyone in any of those locations got more than 1" (except eastern Monmouth) and most of those locations didn't see more than 1/2", certainly not north of 78.
