I forget which forecaster got all weenish and proclaimed 8 to 14 inches in dc. If I see 5 inches today pigs fly. 8 to 14 inches! I will be lucky to see four with this. The entire baroclinic zone is shifting southeast. The heaviest rates are about 70 miles south of Dale City geeze

LOL you're probably right but I can't complain about snow and 21 degrees in March even if it's only 3-5 instead of 6+

I'm geeking out watching the radar. There are very thin waves moving southwest toward the radar site. They seem to originate near the MD/PA border, about a 10 degree radial off the radar site. Is this a radar artifact or something atmospheric?
