Lol the weather channel is still calling for an additional 3-5" for DC proper. And yes, they literally just said to add that to whatever is on the ground now.

Sent from my Nexus 7

I honestly think a few more inches are possible from what ppl are saying from Loudoun. It all will depend on where the bands go, but localized areas might be able to squeeze out 3", imo.

Went out to shovel during the dry slot...started snowing again....accumulating easily...will have to shovel again...probably have added an inch plus...5" counting I would say

That band in Leesburg trying to work into Herndon. Snow intensity starting to pick up. I think 6" is doable here.

In N. Arlington, steady pixie dust all day has accumulated around 3+ inches.  Never any big flakes. Sputtering for the last hour a bit, but still continuing.  Took the dog out and it was bitter cold.  Thankfully, she didn't want to stay out long.

It is a little heavier than the worst dandruff i have had. I would not get to excited.

I'm happy with my almost 4". Now we get to look forward to the possible record-breaking cold tonight. Latest HRRR has spotty sub-zeroes across northern MD while the RAP has a decent portion of MD in the negatives.

I've got at least 4" everywhere... Probably 5" in most spots.
