TwcMan
Is it me or am I seeing snow extend as far north as northern NJ? Looks like it over the last few frames.

I see that too, looks like a band developing up that way....extends back into PA above the Lehigh Valley too.
famartin
I see that too, looks like a band developing up that way....extends back into PA above the Lehigh Valley too. The northern areas have to get their coating to 2 inches somehow.
Fields27
It definitely is going pretty far north. None of it seems meaningful though. There are a few decent bands but it's really broken up. The good stuff is still out the in KY/TN and that stuff keeps getting squashed south.

Don't get too discouraged. Temperatures are really falling now. Wouldn't be surprised for you to see sleet or even snow soon.

Capt. Adam
Rain and 32 here in eastern Atlantic County with some sleet mixed in. Traffic cams from northern Atlantic County show ground and roads covered with snow already there.

I might go out and try shoveling a little, thinking that later on that bottom layer will be glued down.

JoeSeNJ
accumulating snow now with some sleet That is unreal. I am still getting rain w/ a couple of sleet pelots thrown in. I guess some years are for the birds.
Birds~69
Light to Mod snow...24.2 Probably 1/2" so far. Super light, the slightest wind throws it off roof tops. I found this kinda lol...
KamuSnow
24F here with light snow, about 1.25" so far. Looking at the radar, at this point the heaviest precip seems to be getting shunted off to the southeast. Think I'll get some sleep and hope to wake up to 2" on the ground anyway. No matter what the final total, it's snowing, and that's a beautiful thing.

dseagull
Barnegat, NJ Maybe 1/2 inch. Incredibly light snow with a temp. of 24.6 Looks to be drying out quickly from West to East. Should taper of to flurries here by 7-8 AM At least I'll be able to go for my morning run in sneakers instead of boots!

JoeSeNJ
We finally have all snow and 28° in Somers Point. Hopefully, we can get into decent returns on radar before it gets dragged south.
dseagull
@ Birds-69, Appreciate the confidence but water vapor suggests otherwise. This baby is gonna get suppressed quickly now. Even if it were to snow for 24 hours at this rate, I wouldn't pick up more than another inch. basically flurries. Was an enjoyable winter without any destructive coastal storms. I'm ready to prep the boat and dunk her in the water soon. Usually like to do so on the "Ides of March....the 15'th" But it looks like I'll be lucky to get her in by the first of April this year. Time for fishing now that my charters are starting to book up!

Up this way trout season starts in about a month so I'm pumped to hit the creek. I hit the shore for blues/seabass/flounder etc. Crabbing is super cool as well...
