sferic
As long as there is fresh snow cover on a Sunday/Monday I'll take it, 1-3 inches is fine, better than a dusting.
Blizzardo
some forums are saying RGEM lloks real nice - any comments? The image snow88 posted looks pretty good to me.. but probably light on qpf for north jersey

IsentropicLift
The southern stream wave looks really, really weak on the GFS. It looks nothing like it was forecasted to look like before it came onshore.
IsentropicLift
And now on the GFS you have another vort coming in right behind this one. Looks like a piece of energy was left behind over southern Nevada.
jbenedet
With that strong surface High off the SE coast, one would think that the surface low would move further NE as opposed to ENE. Naturally the low will move toward areas of relatively lower pressure, and the lowest pressures I see are NE not, east or ENE of the low pressure center... IsentropicLift
This run looks about the same for us eyeballing it as 06z and slightly wetter for areas near DC.

Saturn510
If we were getting one batch producing the .3 or .4 liquid equivalent i would think the accumulations would verifiy , I dont think will see 4 inches north of southern middlesex county with just light snow in the first batch and barely light snow in the second batch. bluewave
Using 12:1 ratios for the GFS would yield about 3" for Central Park which would bring them to around the 60" mark for the season.

Blizzardo
So close for the area. That is so close with such a tight gradient, anything can happen. It wont take much to have big differences. Talk about nowcasting..geez
