Geos
Back edge collapsing in quickly. Most of the snow should be done by 8:30 here.

Chitown Storm
looks like the snow should pick back up when the 2nd period begins. Outdoor hockey is great....even if we have to endure lame-@$$ updates from Cantore.
McDude
Snow picking up here should be at soldier field soon.

Chicago WX
Not in our hood...and I'm not sure why I even looked, and it's probably the NAM being whacky...but that's some off the chart accumulations of sleet in parts of AR, TN, and KY. Literally off the chart. Puts GHD to shame.

Geos
4.9" here as of 9pm. Looks like this system is done, unless some of those radar returns to the WSW shift this direction. 72.5" for the season now. Getting close to the 08-09 season tally.
cyclone77
Was surprised to measure 3" on the nose a bit ago. Didn't think we had that much. Turning out to be a more respectable snow. RAP was way too dry for this immediate area.

cyclone77
High end SN at the moment. Great to see it snowing nicely again after about 11 days with no snow. The existing crust that was leftover after the heavy rain/thaw was pretty nasty looking.

Hoosier
Was looking at the LAF metar and saw something I didn't recall seeing before KLAF 020354Z AUTO 01008KT 6SM BR OVC009 M06/M07 A3027 RMK AO2 FZRAE08 CIG 007V012 SLP256 P0000 I1001 T10611072 I had to look up what I1001 meant. Turns out it's ice accretion in the past hour (as noted by the first 1) to the nearest hundredth inch. So LAF had 0.01" ice in the past hour. cyclone77
3.9" with this wave so far, as it's starting to wind down. With the 0.3" predawn it makes for 4.2" total. Good thing it's slowing down or my name would be cyclops77 by morning.
