welbane
Snowfall map in cm's support the idea that a narrow band across the DC is the jackpot with 25-30 cm, that is, 10"+. http://www.instantweathermaps.com/GFS-php/showmap-conussfc.php?run=2014030300&time=PER&var=ASNOW&hour=
MN Transplant
Yeah, OK. I don't look at snow maps. The 00Z GFS is definitely drier. I guess it is colder too which compensates some in the snowfall department. You have to look at the 24hr at 30 on the 18z. They are basically identical. Bob Chill
But you also have to take into consideration that we lost some QPF from the first wave which was still on the 18z.You beat me to it. That is an important consideration..10+ was progged pre 0z for most all of us IIRC
TL97
You beat me to it. That is an important consideration. .20+ was progged pre 0z for most all of us IIRC If you take the first wave away this run is slightly drier but very similar.

high risk
They use whatever RAP data they are being fed. So any site that was using the old RAP is now using new RAP since it is being disseminated as such. thank you. The RAP V2 did indeed replace the older version. NCEP certainly can't afford to run multiple versions.

HighStakes
I think we are good for 7-8". BWI gets .70 qpf. between 6z and 18z compared to Westminster at .37 qpf. during the same period. You are somewhere in the middle. So 7-8 is very much in play for you.
