MAG5035
Hey at least CNN revised their headline to only 90 million people being affected by this storm. Must've subtracted the population of Pennsylvania from the original over 100 million people, lol. http://www.cnn.com/2014/03/02/us/us-severe-weather/index.html?hpt=hp_t2
Rick G
look at it this way... this was something totally unexpected. It was one for the books. after this all models will need to be looked at closer.

anotherman
Man that cutoff on the NAM is brutal. I am only 10 miles from the M/D line and I get almost nothing.
paweather
This is a kick in the gut. Radar looks great only to see the turn to the east instead of north east. 40 N usually is the last laugh for the DC weenies they get there turn tomorrow.

AlexP
I wasn't living in PA during the March 2001 debacle, but I can't imagine that this bust was worse. I know that there wasn't any social media to speak of back then, but the 2001 storm had incredible media hype and forecasts of over 2 FEET from DC to NYC. Yea that one had much more top end potential than this one and the players in place to be a historic storm but just never fully got together. However, if we were to specifically talk about this region in terms of bust than yea this one was probably worse. I feel like we had this debate last year around this time with the razor thin cut off line storm and Sus valley mixing debacle we had March 6th (aka the snowquester storm). I think alot of us would take what March 2001 ended up giving central PA over this one save for the LSV.
