snowfan
I know Mark published his map earlier in the day, but it wasn't that much different from What Berk put out. I know we can't critique a favored son, but c'mon. Berk's map isn't that bad.
yoda
FWIW, 15z SREFs 2mT maps move 32 degree line through DCA at 06z MON (1am Mon morning) and are at -5c by 12z MON (7am MON) -5c is 23F 15z SREFs also suggest that at 09z TUES (4am TUES) DCA is at 5 degrees 0c 850 line takes longer to come through (11z or so at DCA) but all I take from the SREFs is that they are slowly but surely coming around to the EURO

arlwx
Other two products are based off the range of possibilities and cover confidence factors for certain thresholds of snowfall. These thresholds are the result of work done with emergency managers in determining what snow amounts cause problems or lead to uptick in resources and personnel and issues on roadways etc... Or whether to treat a road first or later. If schoolbuses are running, treating The Hill of Doom by my house in Arlington VA is a priority. If deep snow forecasts cause schools to not open, the treatment priority drops.

PhineasC
Decent map from CWG if a little conservative as usual. Suspect by tomorrow the boom numbers will become the forecast.
