Scarlet Pimpernel
pretty solid. i only have 6/24 hour maps right now but we get slammed... prob .75"+ as snow? northern edge of the heaviest.. perfect spot for now. Bob Chill
Matt nailed it. I was too wide eyed for clear thoughts to post. It a weenie dream run inside of 72 with support from everywhere. Boom
Scarlet Pimpernel
I didn't pay much attention earlier, but just looked at the NWS page. That's an incredible span of winter storm warnings/watches/advisories expanding from the northern Rockies, through the mid-Mississippi valley, and the Ohio valley. Bob Chill
If the overall south trend works out then this thread will be bumped for years.
Scarlet Pimpernel
GFS 1 ... EURO 0 ???? Not sure I'd say that. I believe the Euro was going for a big event several days back while the GFS was warm, then they kind of swapped with each other, then converged on what's now a fairly similar solution. clskinsfan
Euro bullseye is like Harrisonburg to Cho.. Yeah. But they have temp issues down there. It is a nova, Northern and Western MD bullseye.
Scarlet Pimpernel
If the overall south trend works out then this thread will be bumped for years. Yeah, no kidding! It would be something to look back on, and if it works out, will take at least some of the bitterness of March 6 last year away.

Deck Pic
Wow...kinda getting nervous now...that Mid Atlantic pathology is starting to kick in...something will go wrong it's going to come north like 1/21, but we will have a nice margin of error to still get a 4-8" event....that my prediction anyway...we are in a sweet spot...this run gives Petersburg VA like 4" and NYC 4"...more everywhere in between
Scarlet Pimpernel
I am going to assume WSWs will be issued in the 330 package from LWX I'd have to think so given the 12Z guidance earlier and now all the 00Z guidance. Plus, it will be within 48 hours by then. There have been watches for the far western counties of the LWX area that went up earlier, I guess because it will start there sooner. Huffwx
Yeah. But they have temp issues down there. It is a nova, Northern and Western MD bullseye. Don't get soundings.. Can't confirm.
