The Feb 9-10 was a bust out here.  I got 3" in Front Royal at the time.  Winterwxluvr probably did better than that, but that may be why the reverence for 09-10 out here is not quite the same as it is with you guys ENE.

I give 09-10 a huge edge over this year because I've been fringed a number of times this season, but Winchester north is pushing 50" (about 15" more than me just 6 miles south), and the cold has been longer lasting and more impressive this year than in 2010.

We had like 10 inches out of the second storm. But we had 39 inches from the first 2 storms. Like I said earlier. It was the most incredible thing I have ever seen as far as snow goes.

And In all honesty. It was almost impossible to measure snow depth with any accuracy. I just know that the stop signs on every corner of my neighborhood were buried after the buckets came through.

You know because of this... we will not get PBP... I should just go to the NY forum for the PBP.

Just wait 20-25 minutes and read the analysis here.  The NY forum is all over the place with their PBP and the posts tend to contradict each other.

I'm not skilled enough to do PBP but I'll offer up what I see after I have a few minutes to read it over.

That's how much I love snow. And it's for business, not pleasure (though I usually find a way to do both!).

I've never missed a significant storm back home in all my travels. This could be the first!

Same boat except Honolulu > Orlando

The snow was insane in 09/10 but the model tracking was just ridiculous I was a walking zombie that year....this has been a great year...my second best since moving to Leesburg...but just not exhausting.

eh, it was all sort of in a compacted period. we've been tracking storms almost nonstop since november this winter.

You're right to a certain extent haha, but when everyone gets along, it's a pretty good PBP.

I've never missed a significant storm back home in all my travels. This could be the first! I actually was at Dulles on Feb 8th, 2010 about to get on a flight to San Diego. I was in the terminal about to check my bag, but I just couldn't get myself to do it. I couldn't leave with that snowstorm coming! I took my bag, walked back outside and got in a cab and went home. A good decision since it was epic snow, and I ended up getting the whole week off since the govt closed!
