BaltimoreWxGuy
According to these maps, CMC flips us to snow around 59 HR..could be off an hour or 2 but just a reference.

yoda
Have you seen the GGEM? Nice hit. 850s crash before 12z (from +3 at 6z to -2 at 12z). ~0.5" falls after 12z. ETA: Just saw your post above mine. Yeah... snow ends around 4pm

nj2va
GGEM QPF. First map is what has fallen through 12z. Second map is what falls after 12z (like Yoda said, we (DC proper) flip around 11z). GGEM would be a 6-7" snowstorm here, verbatim.

yoda
I would not be surprised to see LWX go WSW for most of the CWA in the morning package... places like S MD and C VA (aka Spotsy/Stafford/King George) prob not in WSW at first issuance
Deck Pic
I won't have pretty maps till later. I can't analyze the pencils and crayons. It hurts my head. Is the second wave similar to other guidance and how much qpf? GGEM is tasty..6-7"

Ian
This may be the best winter on internet. 2009-10 had the monster events but almost 7 weeks in between real nothing. 2013-14 just end to end and not ending. 2009-10 was bootleg other than a few weeks and some roid rage storms. Although the March torch was wonderful.

The entire envelope is 3-8" for the most part. And I can be happy wirh 3". That's my minimum bar including sleet. Leads are short now too... WinterWxLuvr
this is pretty absurd gfs_t2m_b_washdc_23.png We get this snow.....and those temps.....this winter tops 09-10. Truthfully, it already has in my book, if for no other reason than it's consistency.

Scarlet Pimpernel
Only fitting for this winter -- to date: PHL: 59.5" NYC: 44.9' BOS: 56.4" Well, every major location in the east has enjoyed above to well above normal snowfall, even DCA. Though DCA not quite so much as the other places. Philly has been a real jackpot relatively speaking this winter. So, if anyone from the other locations to our north start to b*tch if we get hit hard with this storm and they get relatively little, I'll have to just roll my eyes and have little sympathy (they did in 2010, I recall, that's for sure). Heck, last year Boston got a foot from our Noquester March 6 white rain event. All that aside, an impressive showing through the entire Megalopolis all winter. Was 2002-03 the last time that happened?
