REDMK6GLI
Looks north posted that in the NE thread and looks quite a bit wetter when compared to the 18z NAM run
David-LI
NAM seems to look colder. It looks like a wall of snow about to hit the area. Can't believe that might actually just slide south.
UlsterCountySnowZ
posted that in the NE thread and looks quite a bit wetter when compared to the 18z NAM run I would agree...at this point idk what to think.. Can't even make an educate guess as to what the 00z suites will do lol

REDMK6GLI
NAM has light snow on the NYC door posts at 48 hours. looks warm but NAM Is notorious for having warm profiles. big thing here is it is north of 18z, nice start to the 0z suite

JetsPens87
The NAM almost looks GGEM like.... looks warm with the first wave and the second looks like it may slide south (don't quote me on that, just an observation so far)

There's 3 players In this storm so to think any model will get it right past 24 hrs from event is nuts... I think we will see the north south fluctuation until tomorrow nights 00z just my opinion tho

WintersGrasp
Moderate snow just to the west of NYC at 48 hours with light snow continuing. Is that snow or rain? Looks too warm to be snow. The orientation of the precip and 2nd wave snow has changed big time. It was a swatch of snow sliding almost due E/ENE...now it appears to sag south and just move on quickly Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Heisy
Remember thats just the back door cold front, its the strength of the shortwave in the south you need to be concerned with, and it trended weaker and farther south on this run

JetsPens87
First impulse rides the arctic boundary and it's warm....where is the killer confluence? The second wave which was always supposed to be the one that gave us the snow, gets squashed south.....
Heisy
I think the NAM is still putting way too mcuh emphasis on the lead wave...
David-LI
Forecast off the nam runs? No because off the nam runs would be drizzle to cloudy skies.
