hosj III
so we have the 12z gfs/gefs and 12z euro op totally on our side and we're inside of 72 now. GGEM is mostly there and the ukmet appears a little jacked up. 12z euro ens will likely look pretty much like the op imo. we're about at the point where ensembles lose their value. This is a great day. not if you wanted ice

Herb@MAWS
TWC, Dr Greg Postel when discussing TWC snow map -- "DC looks like 1-3"; we'll probably raise those totals in a few hours." Eh, just FWIW ... I generally don't like to rely on TWC. But another piece to "the trend is your friend". IMBY it's 20.3 at 2pm, a.m. low 8.
HM
yes...and I'd guess 75% of what falls in the 1am - 7am panel is snow..so probably 1-2" already on ground by 7am Matt, it seems to me that the immediate DC area is over to snow around 10z. The line is JUST to your NW at 9z. Around 9z, it seems there is a transition period there where some ZR/IP is possible, as you indicated (9z 2m <0c).
