Bob Chill
I'm calling this year my favorite tracking year overall since I joined the boards in 06. The mental exercises have been relentless and the production has been solid.
North Balti Zen
I'm calling yesterday's my favorite due to the incredibly low temps and the fact that it screwed Philly/NYC/Boston. And Baltimore. It screwed Baltimore too. So we got that going for us...

Fozz
I'm calling this year my favorite tracking year overall since I joined the boards in 06. The mental exercises have been relentless and the production has been solid. I'm having a hard time deciding whether I like this year or 09-10 better. For us northern folks especially, the combo of cold and snow was second to none, the best I've ever seen--even better than 02-03 in northern MD. We had more snowy weeks, more snowstorms, an interesting January, and probably more days with snow on the ground than we did in 09-10. I used to be afraid of saying that the cold in 09-10 was kinda lackluster (cue the inevitable "we don't live in Vermont!!!" lecture), but this year had exactly whatever frigid cold was missing that year, and it was almost never wasted. But I still give 09-10 the edge just because this year never even came close to the way I was buried on February 11, 2010.
Bob Chill
I agree Fozz, 09-10 will be king for snow for probably forever. For tracking not just snow events but multiple anomalously cold outbreaks this year has been door to door. 02-03 style in winter activity as a whole

mitchnick
gotta agree and really, I don't have a big favorite this year....but gun to head, 2/12 only gripe is that most storms underperformed in varying degrees imby from what models advertised, but that's the only thing I will gripe about this year
MDstorm
I would have to say 2/12-13 for my favorite event of this season. The total amount of snow along with the 2- part aspect of the event swayed me. It was also a fun event to track and had a bit of a long lead. Plus , with the Euro locking on so early, I didn't have to take as many sedatives and was able to fully appreciate the event. MDstorm
WEATHER53
It's nice to have had multiple events to choose from in the "favorite" category.
