IWXwx
4-6" with low confidence. Probably would be more surprised if we come in over 6" rather than under 4" Yep. Good call. Not expecting it, but hope we can overachieve. Hoosier's call has me nervous, but I'm still going with 6.4" up this way. Counting on the grand finale tomorrow to overachieve in this winter of overachievers. IWX did place the entire CWA under a WWA with a graphic showing 4-7 for my area. Good luck to all! Ajdos
It'll be nice to see my glacier looking white again after today for a bit. I have like 6-7" of snow that is so solid I can walk on it without sinking. Basically iceSome of o Some of our snow looks literally like cement...due to all the streets falling apart, potholes, and rocks, cement mixing with the snow lol. It looks really bad.... Chicago WX
This might be a painful storm...by that I mean that there should be times when rates are pretty good but there will be periods where rates may suck. Patience may be required. Me being patient...psshhh, not a problem. Eh, I'm resigned to this being a small hit for us. As I've said before, my rooting interests lie with IND getting 6". Got to go for the record.

I notice than any spots under 8" you walk on without sinking at all..the 12"+ spots you sink a few inches in, and thats it.

michsnowfreak
Not that it matters in NOWcast time, but 18z GFS jumped qpf at DTW to 0.29" after its 12z laugher of 0.11". Thinking we see 3" minumum here per latest hi-res trends..
