Pretty large step actually about 3 counties north compared to the 12z runs with those QPF lines.

 

 

Yeah it was. Knowing SV uses 10-1 ratios for the snowfall maps it would seem the .40+ line runs from Chicago to here to near Josh.. Thus where it has the 4+ inch snowfall line.

The guys in the PA sub forum are saying 10-12"+ for most of PA so I have to imagine it's GFS like and mostly snow back our way.

Ya.. potential is definitely there. I can't wait until we get some sampling and see the models tomorrow night.

 

The hardest aspect with this storm won't be the QPF, it'll be the vertical profile. Keep your fingers crossed!
