DDweatherman
Dundalk, MD. Compiling some spotter reports and talking to some other people who measure around the area sitting at 32-35" on the season. Nice year around here, especially with the local bullseye on 1/2 and 1/21 (6.0 and 7.7 respectively)

Bob Chill
GFS...3am - 9am...~0.12" for DC RGEM is between .10 - 15. The .15 line is really close to DC and there's a .20 spot just south of NOVA. ETA: A picture is better than trying to describe it. Sure looks like another mini bullseye for someone in our area. snowfan
Latest RAP seems to want to bring the heaviest of the precip through the 95 and east area somewhere in the 8-10 time frame with more falling after 10. This appears to have more potential for area wide accums and bigger bust potential on the high end.
attml
Who remembers this post from last night when nobody was calling for anything????? I predict a model fail (as shown below). dailylurker
Strange thing today. I was working down near AFB today. This morning that area had a good burst of snow. Probably nearly 3" in grassy areas. The sun came out about 12:45. By 2:30 most of the snow was gone. I'm driving home on route 50. Suddenly I notice snow on all the trees and ground as I near bowie. I get to my house just east of crofton and there's snow everywhere. Probably 2" on grassy areas. Snow didn't melt at all. Strange..
DDweatherman
High ratio snow looks to be in the cards tonight. H85 temperatures seem to be near perfect and in correlation with the DGZ. Looking like 850's near -12 over BWI, which could lead to 15-18:1 ratios despite surface temperatures around 28-30. The result could be 2" in a more spread out area with lollies to 3" once again. Ka60
Me too. Measured 1.5" downtown at 18th and F, NW.

DDweatherman
New 23z Rap has .15 from CVA around CHO way northeast to ne of PHL. .2 inside of there from BWI down to NW of CHO. A .25+ bullseye around IAD. All and all, not bad. Shows 5-7 hours of snow.

mattie g
Still have up to 2" in many places on my property after 3.25" today. Wouldn't mind getting a couple more to pad the stats and maybe make things white for the chilly weather. 23z RAP wants to do just that.

DDweatherman
yup...love the 0.25" that tickles DC and Baltimore This one has more potential than last nights. Hi-res models were putting out .1-.15 for this AM's event. Congrats on today btw, and think you could be celebrating tomorrow again. I think I get in on this one as well, only .7" this AM but a beautiful snow nevertheless. RAP has been juicing up each run, great sign.
