Animal
Although not saying it, sounds like from Matts PBP it went S...not sure. I saw the snow map for the euro. DT will need to make a new map again. A few inches for the north burbs
Heisy
EURO trended stronger with the low, but more south with the PV, we need the PV to tick N on the next few runs. I like the GFS ens mean as my call still. Philly still does will on EURO, about .
Animal
My thinking is that I'm glad I don't forecast for Allentown Scattered flurries maybe a car topper with the new euro model

A few inches for the north burbs Don't worry, the NAM will screw w/the MA folks and make them panic once again...then suicide mode will kick in. But yeah, I'm really lowering my expectations... For the burbs maybe, but Philly should do fine (depending on your expectations)...4-8" is a solid March snowstorm...Usually see ticks NW in last 48 hours too
famartin
If anyone cares, my totally unofficial, uneducated and un-endorsed thoughts for the Trenton area are not changed from yesterday, I'm keeping the 5-10 for now, but leaning on the low side of that. Mitchell Gaines
Right now I'm wondering if there will be a rip off zone where some poor souls see a mix with the first wave then are to far north on the second wave. Still time for a 50 mile shift either direction and with PHL right on the NCAA tournament bubble waiting on selection Sunday results.

I just posted in the NYC forum I'd rather be in Staten Island that say between Trenton and Philly....I could see them cashing in on the initial wave while areas more south either have it go north of them or are too warm and then everyone misses the 2nd one. Ralph Wiggum
This bites. I'll give it til 18z to begin a nudge north but this one is quickly escaping us. Trying to stay positive tho.

You do realize that most of the area is still a good hit on virtually every model, right? If you want to speculate that there is still room for a jog south, fine, but as it stands now, the PHL area still gets hit with a solid storm. Sophisticated Skeptic
This bites. I'll give it til 18z to begin a nudge north but this one is quickly escaping us. GD0815
i'd be shocked if there ISN'T a northward nudge the next few runs. Why though? As we get closer to the storm, the models are picking up on the strength of the PV....not every storm moves North.
Animal
i'd be shocked if there ISN'T a northward nudge the next few runs. We are out of time for anything big to impact counties in the northern end of Mt Holly NWS.

famartin
Based on the complaining in some parts of the forum, you'd think it had been a poor snow season or something...
Animal
Based on the complaining in some parts of the forum, you'd think it had been a poor snow season or something... I don't think that is the issue. Going from 15 inches--8 inches to nothing in 24 hours is a kick in the nutz. Case in point is my backyard. I have made peace with this storm. Birds~69
Based on the complaining in some parts of the forum, you'd think it had been a poor snow season or something... We were overdo for somewhat of a screw job after some good potential w/this storm. But yeah, certainly doesn't bother me as much as if we had a under performing winter. See what happens...I'll be fine w/a couple inches.
