NorthArlington101
Awful post Half of the NYC forum hates us, half is begrudgingly congratulating us. It's a fun mess to read, plus they do provide good maps and insight.

Fozz
Do you consider a 1 out of 31 return rate high frequency? No, but it's not terribly rare or unheard of either. The world isn't black and white.

mattie g
Good to know, even if the heavier qpf is south of us, not losing any to rain or sleet is a win. Sorry that this isn't all rain for you.

Fozz
Why do people obsess about sun angle in early March but it never gets a mention in mid to late November? November has a much lower sun angle than March. The shortest day is winter solstice (dec 21st), so the closer it is to that day, the lower the sun angle. When she got back she said it was a zoo. Yeah it was a madhouse, plus traffic in Shrewsbury was awful and I took the kiddo who is teething like a mofo, so all in all, fantastic trip! Ian
Why do people obsess about sun angle in early March but it never gets a mention in mid to late November? Probably partly because it doesn't snow in November. Plus as others noted the sun angle is higher now than then.
