I like Mark's map too. He's pretty good and it's a shame we drove him out of here but it seems silly in a lot of ways.

It is a shame, and there's a lot of silly HS stuff that goes on here, but all you can do is try not to participate in it.  As far as the map is concerned, I'm surprised how far south he goes with the 2 to 4" line.  He's on board with the cold pressing south for sure.

Where's all of the snarky people who gave me a hard time the other day when this was still an "ice-storm" for using "1800's wish-casting" instead of modelology when I said AACO would get 4+ inches and that all of your models had the bulk of the storm too far north?

You're becoming tedious.

Nobody said anything about 1800's wishcasting.   I know what you're referring to.

You did that???? Whoa.

Yeah, probably shouldn't have, but he was telling people this forum was expecting 12-18 inches based in the UKMET and then talking about how crushed we all were going to be based on the 6z NAM. It was just weird enough that I said something.

Course, I won't be saying anything else as Rib has put his foot down.

Plus there's the HECS after the HECS potential I guess. That one slipped through unless it's a whiffy rainer.

I'm not even paying attention to late week. If that thing cuts off and crawls we're pretty unlikely to have the column. Unless it manufactures its own cold of course.

Yup, definitely ending my weekend in Vermont early. Rather than train back on Monday (the original plan), will one-way car rental back Sunday night. Don't want to get caught away and not be able to get back.

(The irrational part of me worries this will jinx the storm into not happening).
