mappy
The models are too far north. Central Maryland will get a good amount of snow out of this system! at least 4" for AA county, right?

PhineasC
Hey, since the weenies have decided this thing is a bust can we close the thread and ask them to go into hibernation until next December? That seems fair and equitable for all.

PhineasC
I think it will be warmer during Sunday then cold air will be slow to filter in Sunday night. Areas well north and west see a changeover but it takes longer toward DC. Toward Monday morning and by then how much of the qpf is around? Dude, we got it. Fozz
Thanks Fozz If you're new here, I think it's a good idea to read a bit more than you post, especially in the model analysis threads, to get a good feel for what would be useful to add. People get annoyed when you repeat things that have been rehashed over and over again and are obvious to everyone. Other threads are generally more laid back, especially the banter thread. ers-wxman1
I'm new to the forum so my apologies if I have entered my opinion too soon. I joined recently but have followed along for a couple months. I enjoy the discussions. Born and raised on Long Island so I'm a snow junkie myself. Hooked on Wx since Gloria at age 7. Spent a good 10 years forecasting in various stations in TX and NM before my current stint here in the Middle Atlantic. Wife and I have lived here for two years. Been a fun and suspenseful winter thus far.
