* UNTIL 400 PM EST...

* AT 328 PM EST...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
FAST MOVING LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING STRONG
WINDS OVER 35 KNOTS...FROM 7 NM SOUTH OF FIRE ISLAND INLET TO 19
NM SOUTHWEST OF BUOY 44025...MOVING NORTHEAST AT 75 KT.

* THE THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE NEAR...
BUOY 44025 AROUND 345 PM...
GREAT SOUTH BAY AROUND 400 PM.

MARINERS CAN EXPECT GUSTY WINDS...HIGH WAVES...LIGHTNING...AND HEAVY
RAINS. BOATERS SHOULD SEEK SAFE HARBOR IMMEDIATELY...UNTIL THESE
STORMS PASS.

I've never seen fog and lightning at the same time until just now. And then the torrential rain came and cleared the fog in seconds. It was insane.

That was nuts! Some relly good thunder here but missed the heavy cell. Vis was less then 1/4 right up to  the heavy rain burst.

I drove through through some of the thickest fog I have seen recently right around the snowpack at the

Garden City Country Club. The visibility dropped from 1/4 mile to zero over the best snowcover in 

really narrow zone.

I was in the low 40's and dense fog...the warm sector did not produce like it was molded. We don't do well with severe in June let alone February

Ok, but the Tornado watch was a precaution. The warm front stalled, and it was not expected to do so.
