weathafella
Haven't been paying attention but I went out to moderate sleet here when I walked the dog. Iced up the walkways quickly before tapering off.

HoarfrostHubb
Been hearing some loud bangs and bumps. Roof slides or icicles falling is my guess. Maybe a branch or 2?

Ginx snewx
Been hearing some loud bangs and bumps. Roof slides or icicles falling is my guess. Maybe a branch or 2?roof? I saw a house today in Bolton CT that was a repo with obviously no heat, the pack was crazy. News tonight loaded with failed roofs. The frozen waterfalls on the cliffs on the highway are my new fetish. Totally deep winter everywhere you look.
Professional Lurker
Couldn't get up my road after work. Parking at the bottom of the hill and walking 2 miles up an icy, slushy road at 3am ftl... Looked like an inch or so, then rain. The previously snowpacked roads didn't stand a chance, especially since no plow has yet to grace my road with its presence. Sucked!
free_man
Almost didn't make the 600' incline to the house, even with 4wd. 31F and steady zr here after (it looks like) .5" of snow. Very bad out there locally, especially off of the highways. The icy areas begin around Amherst, NH and above 400' elevation, mostly slushy ponding and street flooding below that (Chelmsford to Nashua). dendrite
Not sure how much SN/PL actually fell, but there's about 0.4" out there now so we'll go with that. 32.4F and pouring. Ice this up tonight and it's bulletproof.

MaineJayhawk
0.4" of "stuff" at my place. Was a mix of sleet and snow on my way in to North Windham.
moneypitmike
Temps been pretty steady overnigtht (31.0/30 attm). The cars have a new layer of slush or ice on tem. Radar looks clear for now--can't imagine things are that bad out here with temp just marginal like that. Probably a bit cooler at ground level will make it little worse. weatherMA
32.8, mostly rain but there's still some type of mix going on. Not sure why but classes are delayed until 11. Guess Plymouth cancels for 1" of snow (Wednesday) and 33/rain. It never got below freezing here although I'm sure there are still some icy areas. Had .5 or so of snow before the changeover. MainePhotog
Pouring heavy wet snow when I arrived to work in the west end of Portland. Now a mix of snow/sleet. Awful commute from Bath to Portland this morning. Roads slushy with very wet snow clogging the windshield. Normal 50 minute commute took an hour and a half. Wife reports .50" snow/sleet on the board at home. Home temp: 31.6°F. Wx cam from home. Looks like vis is about 1/2 mile. In the background is Arrowsic Island, approx 1/4 mile away.
