downeastnc Posted February 21, 2014 Share Posted February 21, 2014 All the local eastern guys are on now except New Bern, the couplet with the Goldsboro cell looked good SW of town but luckily it seems to be weakening as it closes in on Goldsboro proper....Seymour Johnson got rocked pretty hard should see some decent numbers wind wise there I would think. A NWS survey revealed that an EF-1 tornado touched down around 1:25 Friday afternoon. The EF-1 damaged an office trailer in Grantham. Nearby trees were uplifted and tossed on to a nearby tree canopy. http://www.wral.com/storms-exit-east-leave-minor-damage-behind/13414003/ The National Weather Service confirmed that two EF0 tornadoes touched down in Robeson County - one near Pembroke and the other in St. Pauls.
