free_man
Not yesterday? I think vis is a little lower, perhaps there's a fog element today missing yesterday..whiteout either way. lol
ORH_wxman
I think the visibility was lower today, but not sure if visibility and accumulation rates go entirely hand in hand. They don't...I've picked up an inch an hour with 3/4-1 mile vis arctic fluff while having trouble doing that with 1/2 mile baking powder. Also if the snow is 1/8th mile paste, it won't accumulate as efficiently as 1/8th mile perfect dendrites at 24F. Ovbiously both are quite heavy though if they are reducing visibilities that much. dan11295
Snow here in south Shrewsbury, dunno how long we stay snow here, due to lower elevation. Probably a better shot at accums in the center of Town. Can tell from radar I am right on the edge.
