There's been efficient lift in the lowest levels today.  It was the same story here earlier when we were at least in reasonable proximity to the main bands.  But once everything shifted well east we shut off.    Beams are a mile over our heads.

I thought so.  Back in my day BDL's WFO had their radar on top of a 1100' mountain on the edge of the CT River valley.  You'd thinking that it would have been a good location but it always had so much ground clutter.

Still snowing at a pretty good clip here in downtown Springfield.  My wife reports "snowball sized flakes" in Stafford and "at least 1.5" FWIW..

Wouldn't shock me if away from the water a bit. 3-4" here...and some of the best stuff looks like it was just west of here.

Niantic (right at the beach) had flipped to rain for about five or ten minutes but has been all snow (I'd say moderate) for the last few hours.  At my home ten minutes away, there hasn't been any rain.

Seems delayed here in pwm. still bright skies

Warnings started early because of the snow that dropped CON and places to 1/2SM so far today. However, that has struggled against the dry air in place. The heaviest snowfall is still on track from the forecast yesterday. No worries for me.
