Looking at your totals, Your actually ahead of me, I Have missed out on a few events this winter by only a few miles

If you dig up our (GYX) snowfall forecasts that must be buried in these threads somewhere you'll see that for at least the last 24 hours we've been focusing the heaviest snowfall from CON to western York County, ME. Original amounts will end up on the low side for the max area, but then again so will everyone's original forecasts.

I have a very real shot at my snowiest winter on the boards.

1) 2011 94"

2) 2009 82.5"

3) 2013 79"

4) 2008 73.5

5) 2014 71"....

That's awesome and amazing. Those four winters you quoted were all big winters at the ski area up here with 320"-380" totals. This season so far it's at 165" so we'd need to more than double snowfall by the end of the season to get to those years.

The departures at the end of the season will be fun to look at. Like Ryan said, Litchfield has been relatively screwed...but honestly it's about time for a good coastal plain sweep after the period of Tobin bridge hangings from like 2011-2013.

The past two weeks have been how winter is supposed to be. Snowy and cold.

Forgot to mention that I have 31.75" for February.  6.5" from BEATING 2003!  Freaking 2003!

What caused me to only come up with 6"?

Sports like Westford, and Acton had 9"....it wasn't the ocean.

 

I was swamped at work, so couldn't pay close attention, but I can see why area n of me got more...why west??

Coastal York County has been getting dumped on. I heard a report of an almost 3-hour commute from Portland to Kbunk (normally 40 minutes). I think this is the deepest snowpack I have seen in the 13 years I have lived here.

At home in Shelton looks like 2-3" when I walked the dogs. I noticed a pretty good gradient when i got through the hamden exits on the merritt. Nevertheless, awesome work day in manchester and the most fun i had during 2.5hr commute home.

Glad the folks up north jacked, esp free_man....as his call for a warm and wet feb has been flushed into his septic tank.

Looks like my total was 5.5"....Staffordville must have been outside that band because he reported 3.6".  It's amazing the gradients that mother nature throws up!
