Typhoon Tip
4.75" in Ayer; snow seems to be letting up a bit, though vis still about 1/3 mi. Rad confirms a lull-hole passing near-by. Turned out to be nifty little event. Activity over LI behaved according to the discussion plan from this morning, as it blossomed N and filled. At max my vis was at or even a little less than 1/8 mi, and I believe there occurred 2" in that hour ...maybe 2.25. Snowed 1.5" in the last hours. I was at 3.25 at 1:20, now 4.75. Est another inch to inch and half based on rad.

metagraphica
Last burst of moderate snow coming through now but I'm calling it 4" final new snow. I rarely bother with core samples, but I was curious to know what was added to the load on my roof. .55" liquid equivalent in that 4" of snow/sleet/graupel. PASTE! radarman
My house in Belchertown was just far enough east to presumably cash in on the under the radar stuff earlier once the band moved east. And in the last hour with some enhancement from the vortmax it absolutely went to town, pouring extremely light snow. Just measured 6".
