BULLETIN - EAS ACTIVATION REQUESTED  SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING  NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE BALTIMORE MD/WASHINGTON DC  1253 AM EDT THU JUN 19 2014    THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN STERLING VIRGINIA HAS ISSUED A    * SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR...    EASTERN PRINCE GEORGES COUNTY IN CENTRAL MARYLAND...    SOUTHEASTERN ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY IN CENTRAL MARYLAND...    NORTHWESTERN CALVERT COUNTY IN SOUTHERN MARYLAND...    * UNTIL 130 AM EDT    * AT 1247 AM EDT...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS DETECTED NEAR MARLTON...    OR NEAR UPPER MARLBORO...AND WAS MOVING EAST AT 35 MPH. THIS STORM    IS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING HAIL UP TO THE SIZE OF QUARTERS AND    DESTRUCTIVE WINDS IN EXCESS OF 70 MPH.    * LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE...    NORTH BEACH...    SHADY SIDE...    GALESVILLE...    RHODE RIVER...    MAYO...    SOUTH RIVER...    PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...    THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM. Road is a river...literally.

 

The entire road is a stream of water.

 

I would go check on my blankets... but it's just too intense out there to make it worth it.

 

That said, I  have a large covered porch which is great for observations.

 

Only the most intense storms could ever drive me off of it.... which is still unlikely.

I think Glen Burnie is finely done....3hrs later. Ugh my eyes hurt and I have a headache from so much strobe light.

I'm right by the bay... so not done yet ....but soon.

 

BTW... it is still rippin here.
