HoarfrostHubb
The general public will commit mass suicide if it snows even a little on Tuesday. People are frazzled. Lol The spacing of these events worries me a little
Damage In Tolland
I've seen some tv maps already of 3-6 for all of SNE save the cape with 1-

Lol The spacing of these events worries me a little Well last storm, the atmosphere had 36-40 hrs only to re moisturize itself lol after a KU (otherwise it may have ended up w a better enviornment for bombing compact mid level lows) but anyway This one has 60 , hope that enough

Lol The spacing of these events worries me a little No worries, it's a little guy. Could be a nice event, but there is a lot of variability still. Right now I would favor north of the pike simply because of the vort track..but it's early.

HoarfrostHubb
Wave spacing overrated. We have had years where the little guys were on a somewhat daily basis. 2-3" here. 4-6" there

Hopefully it ends up that way, Because we have been punched in the balls by quite a few vorts this winter

CoastalWx
It's probably going to go over SNE. I-90 northward is my guess for best snow.

CoastalWx
It's one of two things. A narrow area of snow from SSE flow like the NAM has, or a more broad area of lighter snows with heavier amounts near and north of the vortmax. I just think it "favors" north of the pike at the moment. That image almost looks like the 6z NAM,

40/70 Benchmark
It's probably going to go over SNE. I-90 northward is my guess for best snow. This looks to be the final event of February, so my goal is 5"...enter March with a clean 70". My benchmark for "epicosity" is about 95". We reach that goal on Tuesday, and I'll only need a 25" March.
CoastalWx
GFS looks nam-like with the s/w. Potent little guy with a short 3-6hr burst. I can't see this as more than 5" unless the vort goes south like euro...but the 12z euro has not come out yet.
CoastalWx
This has the look of an "injection" low. What do I mean buy that? Well a potent vortmax now works with a high theta-e injection from 950-850 of atlantic moisture and boom...a narrow area of mdt to briefly heavy snow happens. ORH_wxman
Get that sfc low track down around LI/south coast and that would be more favorable for SNE to try and sneak 4-6" amounts..othersie its probably more like a 2-3" event from a moderate burst that lasts 3 hours. CoastalWx
Check it out. First two images are 950mb temps. Notice the influx of warmer air. Now, look at the lift generated from 850-500mb.
