Didn't do a total map yet...would wait until tomorrow but current thinking regarding where it's all snow and where it's more of a mix.  Not overly impressed by this and while temps aloft are fine, lots of room for warmer air to really work into the surface and just above and given how precipitation rates shouldn't be too excessive...this will lead to more mixed precipitation.  At most I would see 1-3'' for snow and up to 4'' above 1000'.

Wow. Wiz going with a mix and rain scenario throughout most of ct.  Not even Box has me at rain or mix yet.  I suppose Paul, you could be the trend setter on this.

I wouldn't  expect many people in this forum to really agree with a map that has something less than snow.

I know that all too well.

I do think you're overplaying the warmth a bit. I do agree with some rain mixing in east of HVN on the south coast but for the rest of us I don't see much. I did hedge low outside of the hills because we'll probably we 32-34 during the storm and rates probably won't be any too exciting.

I like the meso low appearance some of the hi res models have...really neat looking.

It'd be nice if we could get the mid-levels a little more potent before it exits...kinda like the 6Z NAM. It closed off H85 over E MA and tried backing the flow up to H7.

sneaky potential with this one. just gut feeling right now.

Yeah I agree. There are some things that sort of suck about it though. The lift is very low in the atmosphere... centered around 900-850mb. Certainly not good for great snow growth lol.
