The stuff to the NW is related to 500-700 fronto. great 850mb burst is what the stuff is to the south of us. That is the banding we need to watch. OKX rad suggests it maybe tickles just nw of BOS.

 

 

Fear the dry slot - if current radar trends continue, the dry slot will be in north central CT soon.

Yes.

Once that frontogenesis abates, and moves on, the have nots will be mired in a seemingly omnipresent dry slot of sorts, as the main show waves, and passes by to the east into the night.
