Cold Miser
4.75" thus far. Not sure how much longer this supposed to go on but considering 24 hrs ago BOX had about 1-2" I'm pretty stoked.
TheSnowman
Polar Vortex - Agree. Everyone hated the RGEM but right here, right now, as we are sitting here, sharing air of the Earth, and I have a tiny 4.5", I agree that your RGEM hug was right unless something amazing happens. I thought this was going to be yet Another situation in my life where the small system before or after a Major system would beat it. I got 7.25" Thursday. Want to get 9" tonight for so so many reasons.

CoastalWx
RGEM was way too dry in RI and ern CT. As stated earlier..it's tough to resolve details like mesoscale banding by 20-30 miles. They can give you hints, but it can also be dangerous to just run with a particular solution.
J Paul Gordon
-3C. snow much lighter than earlier. Close to 10 cm (4 inches) but I'm not counting on much more after this.
Dotb
Definitely not going to get near the middle range of forecasted totals here, but the snow is coming down pretty good right at the moment, however the winds really just started cranking up. Up until now, it had been pretty much dead calm all evening.
