hm8
Looks like AA was under 45-50 dbz snow earlier lol The visibility didn't get as low as during the arctic front earlier, but the flake size was the biggest I've witnessed and that combined with daylight and obviously the thunder made it waaay more intense. **** was so cray
stormtrackertf
Thunder RA/IP combo now. Heard 3 more claps before the snow ended while I was out shoveling. Cannot be denied this winter.
stormtrackertf
Also over 2" of extremely wet compacted snow fell here. Huge bonus to help keep some of our pack around.

stormtrackertf
Also I swear for a bit while I was out there shoveling it practically was hailing with the snow. Like nearly pea-sized ice chunks. Intense stuff.

Powerball
It's been a very cold (freezing?) rain in Dearborn for the past 25 minutes. It pretty much flipped from Heavy Snow.

stormtrackertf
It's been a very cold (freezing?) rain in Dearborn for the past 25 minutes. It pretty much flipped from Heavy Snow. I'm not far from Dearborn and I've got 31.6°F and rain, the snow being so relatively high up towards the thermometer right now might be shaving a degree off or something. It's close though, because the rain hasn't really done in much of the snow yet.

So I would hav called it freezing rain.
