JC-CT
Yesterday for some reason took the lil' weenie out of me. Snowblower didn't blow so today I was piecemeal shoveling. My back is gone. I have the feeling this is going to dump because physically I won't be able to enjoy. Max is probably going to be SE Ma. Someone will report upwards of 18" (probably measured wrong) NW of Boston: 3-5" Brockton: 8-10" Plymouth 10-12" Winds on the Cape will be insane probably hurricane gusts. 00Z suite comes in W and bombs in the perfect location those amounts will be woefully low. What's up with the blower? Lots of weenies on here, maybe we can help.

If we helped other driveways, we'd purposely pour salt in the front yard to help the melting process. "Look, my yard is deeper".

I'm like GTFO.....I need to place the snow just right with my shovel.....hurting back be damned...how many times I've talked to my father in law and he's like "you gotta throw it as far back as possible so you have a place to put the next storm".....I'm like "no F'ing way...I'm piling it up so my banks are massive...." ROOSTA
What's up with the blower? Lots of weenies on here, maybe we can help. Thank-you for the concern. Brand spanking new. I know what happened in the last storm I mauled some wiring XMAS décor. Probably jammed or belt slipped, gears busted. Story of my life. Most people here who know the story behind my ailment, disability from work. Five hour surgery in Oct. I don't want to muck, muck the thread. It Sucks! This event is starting to shape up nicely. Detriments: way to fast, in and out. Snow-depth is deep and going deeper, record territory here. I remembering the gathering at Clarke's in town. Will, Jerry, Ray, Sam. The ensembles looked sweet, they loaded and locked pretty much from that night onwards. That night got the Juju flowing. Wall to wall, lets hope it continues and reloads after next week respite! There should be a couple metal screws stuck through the horizontal bar that spins the main auger. They are designed to break if the auger is put under stress, in order to save the gears. That was a beatch to fix but I somehow muscled it back in. Works well now. Is yours still under warranty?

I recall busting a couple of them a few years back (2007/2008?) - big, wet snowstorm. Aubachaun was sold out, but I knew one of the guys there and he hooked me up. I have spares now...lol

Baroclinic Zone
1.25" at TAN off the NAM. 21z SREFs are also 1.25". 12z Euro and Ensm were 1"+ as were the 18z GFS and Ensm. Me thinks 12" is quite possible.

Report back if that isn't the issue. Snowblowers are fairly simple machines. Should be able to figure it out with a little trial and error. But definitely start with the shear pins, they are literally designed to break.

The auger before using was free-spinning. Not good and should have been a light-bulb. I'm mechanically challenged amongst other things! LOL. That has to be the problem.
