40/70 Benchmark
lol love that line, your 69 analog just walked in the GFS door. I know I am crazy but the records being broken for snow across the East are moving their way north. LOL I just feel like its time...I think ne MA is just due to get punished. I'm not calling for 3'...this will be a swift mover. Ginx snewx
I'm sort of letting this one play out without paying much attention until tomorrow. RUNNAWAYICEBERG
I almost feel out of energy after tracking yesterday and last night. It's almost unfathomable that we are experiencing a perhaps bigger event now. I am out of gas for it. Remember when people were canceling February They still will in a few days...short memories and instant gratification cheek clenchers.

N. OF PIKE
I always thought the atmosphere was somewhat "spent" after such a biggie and best barcolinity would be too Far East for a big storm close in. As well as pwats dry post yesterday's storm. Just probably weenie nonsense?

Wine is open, Chinese food is coming, and the Olympics are on. Fun night after a long day skiing. we were actually closed to the public today due to the PW overwhelmed at Foxwoods and unable to get our lots cleaned, guess the heavy wet stuff brutalized the equipment and the fact it was 24 hours killed them, the difference in snow depth between here and there is big, but man the piles are epic. I'm not calling for 3'...this will be a swift mover. Jay, you finally take the prudent course of action that I preach, then I abandon it lol It was good advice Ray. I think you have come a long ways with your objectivity, and so have I. When I joined this forum I was a borderline clueless amateur. I have learned a real lot here. Absolutely been a great experience. The HRRR for yesterday in the end wasn't far off, delivered two bursts of snow this AM that actually came down pretty heavy which I enjoyed. In the end, many of us actually felt effects of the ULL. I trash you for your decisiveness and objectivity alot. By no means is it a bad thing, just make sure that you are not doing it just because its becoming a habit. Storms will still deliver and surprise, take your gut sometimes and take things as they come. You usually have great reason for your thoughts. Your going with your NW gut here, and for some reason it smells fishy to me. Almost seems to good to be true. Which is similar to your stinger thoughts from well before the storm. You were largely correct as things started to become more clear. Just beware of declaring too early.
ROOSTA
Yesterday for some reason took the lil' weenie out of me. Snowblower didn't blow so today I was piecemeal shoveling. My back is gone. I have the feeling this is going to dump because physically I won't be able to enjoy. Max is probably going to be SE Ma. Someone will report upwards of 18" (probably measured wrong) NW of Boston: 3-5" Brockton: 8-10" Plymouth 10-12" Winds on the Cape will be insane probably hurricane gusts. 00Z suite comes in W and bombs in the perfect location those amounts will be woefully low.
