Ginx snewx
It always helps others understand when there's photos. I like posting photos that show a landmark that's .3 miles away exactly...when it vanishes I know it's snowing really hard, when the one that's .15 miles away vanishes I know I'm seeing snow that I may see once a year or two. I try to post those when possible (daylight). A lot of others don't and that's fine but it makes it hard to gauge when it's seemingly every storm that's delivering S+ and S++. A pile of snow on the ground later doesn't demonstrate much but it's really fun to look at for sure. You saw my vid, that trampoline is 100 ft, the woods you can barely see behind it 200ft

CapturedNature
New BOX map. BOX has been pretty decent the past couple of storms. I'll be out in starting to do some tapping but not expecting much out this way. 2-4" should do it. Hopefully some of those totals in SE MA make up for the lack of white stuff out there yesterday. With anything weather related, photos or video are the best bets for verifying something. That's like when you read some overly excited poster on here going nuts over 1sm -SN and 18kt winds and posting about blizzard conditions...yeah, put up some pics and then lets see. bobbutts
18z GFS looks like warning criteria up here vs. 1-3 on the NAM/EC Toot country looks locked for a huge storm from this.

TalcottWx
We should have a good idea after the 00z suite. My gut tells me the 18z GFS is wrong. Jackpots SE ma. Painful to admit. I was using your objectivity to flip the scenario. 18z GFS is western outlier, if it was eastern outlier I would have tossed. I dearly, absolutely, and 999% hope I am wrong. There is a significant banding signal that would be over our heads... if its west enough. Spot savers are already out in Southie, not much hope in me going home to experience the blizzard unless I find a miracle spot.
