You can always count on Messenger to find negative things about a storm or models that show the worst scenario, lol.

He's usually right.....its realism in the eyes of an objective beholder, but is perceived as "negativity"  by those that aren't.

The trends are real...maybe not as dire as some of the meso guidance, but to ignore it is folly.

Just like we kept hearing how the EURO was too amped.....no one wanted to hear the voice of dissention then, either.

Guess what?

I rained, Albany got nude.

Sure, but at this point, raise your hand if you haven't heard his point of view.

I got 7" (8" in west) on the front end of the last storm, the poo-pooing for 95 was a little overdone.

No, it wasn't overdone.

It was exactly right.

No one ever said that there would not be a front end dump.

The issue was regarding the placement of the deformation area, which was well west, as advertised.

We dry slotted and changed to rain, as was asserted by the "warm" camp.

Disagree...many were calling for a big bust in E MA early that day when it was not coming down hard and Boston was light rain even back to Jerry's hood. Maybe you weren't personally, but go back and read the thread. Once the omega came in, it went crazy like predicted. And 8-10" amounts were widespread in the BOS metro-west suburbs.

The deformation area was a lost cause by 30 hours before the event for eastern areas (central/western areas were still in question)

The front end thump did bust further south down near Taunton.
