If there's an upside to being completely out of the running wrt a storm, one can watch the ebbs/flows, positives/negatives, hopes realized/dashed with great objectivity.

Good luck to all who end up winners along the edges.  May they all tickle west to exceed your hopes.

Its also easier to be out of the running having just racked up 15" yesterday. :snowwindow:

Hey Ryan, I can't find a snowfall map up on the NBC ct mobile skin website. Do you have a link?

I think it's on our Facebook page

I saw this post over in the discussion thread and didn't want to clutter it up there.  Why wouldn't you want to post the map on YOUR stations page as well?  All you're doing is sending viewers to facebook and making advertising money for them.  Your station makes money off Web advertising as well as this is a classic example of a viewer looking for something and you're sending them someplace else to get it.  It's also frustrating to have to hunt down something that you're looking for.  Just my 2 cents as an IT person.

Makes sense, but for every other storm they have had it front page on the website. So it's not a general policy decision, I don't think.

Enjoy this one, you've kind of got the 7-10 hose job split this winter so far down there, relative to the rest or this area. Gunna be a quick hitting doozy

Thanks. This 'should' be our biggest storm of the season and For once we look to be in the best banding. Its gonna be fun to watch and now cast as those bands fly in from the SE

Coastal Southern ME bumped up to Warnings this morning. Hopefully covers up all the crunchy slushy crap left over from the other day.

Advisory level for my inland location.  Wash Cty takes the (US) prize, with CAR forecasting 12-18".  With the storm continuing to bomb, I'd imagine that both sides of Fundy might get over half a meter.

According to the map in the discussion thread, Portland looks like it's right on the edge of the 8-10/10-12 line, which is at least as much snow as we got two days ago. I'd love to see what this storm looks like way up there, I bet Acadia and Quoddy Head are gorgeous right now.
