Jon
BTW, speaking of the Canadian, it looks like it's getting a major upgrade soon. Maybe it will challenge the Euro? From DT (typos and all): Isn't the GFS scheduled to have an upgrade with the same resolution as the Euro sometime this year?
toxictwister00
BTW, speaking of the Canadian, it looks like it's getting a major upgrade soon. Maybe it will challenge the Euro? From DT (typos and all): It will be funny to imagine a day where the Canadian will be superior over the European on a weather event(s). A lot of the changes sound positive though, I hope those changes do make it a more reliable model in the future.
Cold Rain
I think you mentioned this in the main thread but the 18z GFS has less than 1" of precip over the next 16 days. Where is the SS at? It'll show up just in time to sync up with the mega -NAO in April.

Brick Tamland
Well, there is something out there for next week. Only problem is it is 9 to 10 days out. Guess we'll just have to keep watching if the models keep showing it.

Yeah, like the MA did today? They belly ache like no other, but they are all over 200% of climo, again, and they get an excuse me 2-3" snow event today, and will be getting another 2-3" tomorrow, so 4-6" over 2 days. With there luck it will probably 3-5" tomorrow.

You want to hope for next week ,hope for tall, very tall ridging in the west, if that happens there is a small chance we see flakes, if the ridge gets muted than forget about it. Cold Rain
Just thought it would be fun to see the Euro clown map. It would be interesting to see it, but I suspect, just looking at the coarse eWall maps, you'd be somewhat disappointed in the snowfall totals for your house.
