your pond is shut tighter than a nun if there is no source of water keeping it open in spots.. and I thought my grandpa was the king of BS, Sheesh.

I'll take pics. Ground water feeds in from the sump pump.

Edit: There was a lot of ice on it, but now that the runoff has increased, there is water on top of it.

Slow start this morning it was 32 at 11 am.  Sun came out at 1:00pm. Did not think it had time to over achieve like this...

We have just been used to an ultra cold atmosphere all winter. The fact is we are about a week away from March, sun angle is starting to show up in the temperatures.

sun has probably played a large role in overperforming temps lately, so i'm not as confident going over guidance tomorrow.

This, however if LAF does get any sort of appreciable sunshine it would also jack up the severe weather potential down that way especially if they hit or exceed 55 tomorrow.

No doubt.  But being in the warm sector of a bombing cyclone may still result in overperformance even with cloud/snowmelt issues.
