dmc76
you will clear and make a run at 40 by afternoon Mid/upper 30ish. Down toward DTW might hit
michsnowfreak
Mid/upper 30ish. Down toward DTW might hit 40 The snow is very dense...the amount of melting relies on the amount of sunshine, not the temperature (dews will likely remain in the 20s). Geos
already up to 36 on the bank clock after dipping below freezing...probably gonna be another overperformer. Pretty much a lock to be nothing but piles left by Thursday. I smell another over performer as well. 35° already. And just like that the near shore waters are largely free of ice. harrisale
Surprised to hear of all the overperforming temps. Still haven't gone above freezing yet here. Environment Canada forecast was just upped for a high of 39 today in YYZ, probably to reflect the warmth out west which hasn't reached here yet. RJSnowLover
Latest GFS with less than an inch of rain here. Still about .70 or so, but perhaps the mega-flood rains can be avoided.

stormtrackertf
Only lost 3" or so since the last event wrapped up. The snow is very wet/dense now which bodes well for keeping it around.
Geos
RPM way west with the snow. Would be rain back west of MSN. Total moisture from RPM - I believe.
Whitelakeroy
Only lost 3" or so since the last event wrapped up. The snow is very wet/dense now which bodes well for keeping it around. Plus it is going to get in the low 20s tonight which will make this a solid before the rain moves in tomorrow. My only concern is the far NW models with this storm ... they get temp near 50 in SE MI. That will be not be good for us.
BowMeHunter
geos might have to take a polar plunge in his pond tomorrow. dews bumping 32 @ 24 right now. this is the way to run 40's for minimal snow loss.

Convective rains definitely the most efficient. Expecting patches of grass to show by this time tomorrow.
BowMeHunter
more warmth for sure.. more rain will just flood streets.. get them dews in the upper 40's+ and a inch of rain for optimal destruction of dumbells who continue to live in flood prone areas.. WestCoaster
* 15-20" of snow on the ground across Toronto * 40 hours of temperatures above freezing to come * 1.5" of rain to come I'm very worried about flooding at this stage.
