Just look at the source of your air on this loop. Keep in mind the ULL is moving in a NE direction or close to that. For those still in the area with SE direction whipping off the atlantic, look at those flipping to snow and find them on that loop. Once your air starts to flow out of the north and you get into the better cold air source you will flip fast. Temps aloft are nose diving. This intense convergence is what is fueling this thing and creating thundersnow/sleet and instability. You can begin to judge whether or not you will get into the good snows.
