JC-CT
I REALLY like this for E Mass. Will not be surprised at meh outside of that. This movie does seem to have played before.
dryslot
Tell me about it. At least I don't have to lose any sleep worrying about which side of the line I'll be on at the Pit. I have more confidence up here in Bartlett of seeing a few inches. I would drive down to Bos, Walk out on the 3rd level of the tobin and take a swan dive if this solution verified, 50 miles you go from .75" to 1.50"
jamesnichols1989
Just imagine the banding the NAM is showing, could put out 3-4"/hour rates, maybe 4-5"/hour rates for a time.
Clinch Leatherwood
Nam is about 20 miles too Far East for bigger hit It's like 20-40" on the cape....lock it up. This is the 20-30 mile jog west...but the GFS has got a screw loose west of the main zone due to the erroneous second spin in the complex.

Ginx snewx
It's come back West 120 Miles since 6Z with its outer.. 25 FWIW, each run about the same 30 miles
Baroclinic Zone
This is off the charts banding on the NAM. Completely apesh*t. I just don't buy how compact it is..but part of it may be related to lift. someone will be smoking exhaust tomorrow
wxsniss
Away from comp... Seems like lingers slightly longer...? Can someone comment on that and possible changes with interaction w ULL over Quebec? But regardless, holy fook. 40 miles and a little slowdown away from a Boston top 10? HIPPYVALLEY
Looking at the huge spread on the SREF members I can also see this thing blowing a gasket and coming over ACK. Would still be tight gradient so out here it might be the difference between dusting and a few inches but a closer track would catch many inside 495 off guard with a raging snow storm. HoarfrostHubb
I am interested in what, if any, affect the stuff in Alabama and Mississippi have on the northern part of this system. Potent stuff down there

That s/w over NY state was closer in interaction...kind of like the GFS.

Ginx snewx
You all see how the NAM is catching up on this? It's had the bombo right, now it's slowly expanding the spatial expanse.

thomasnh
Well forcast for Amherst NH is 50 percent chance of snow 1-3 inches possible. Though listening to the board wouldn't be surprised to have nothing due to tight gradient like what happened in Jan. Good luck EMA amd ME you guys deserve it. Hope the cape gets burried along with Boston especially after this last storm where you guys got way to much rain for a snowstorm. GOOD LUCK! weathafella
RGEM for that track seems pretty skimpy with qpf...about the same as 18z despite a track nearly over the bm.

Having trouble getting that final nudge west here at 00z....SREFs were ridiculous but we have stalled on the first 2 models of the 00z run...NAM came a pinch west, so I guess not a total flat line.
