Clinch Leatherwood
NAM is well NW of the 12z, could be a jackpot in Tolland. Well maybe not that far...

Clinch Leatherwood
18z NAM is on the apocalypse train. Going to be really ugly travel later Saturday. Box needs to go with the B headline I think for some areas.

Clinch Leatherwood
stay safe. I've already filled the bathtub with water, toaster is right next to it in case this goes to rain. I'm fully prepared. NAM made a really big jump here you'll be happy.

Clinch Leatherwood
Yeah but man, it's the NAM. I do believe Euro isn't done trending yet though If the models are keying too much on the offshore convection this could end up developing a lot further west...and subsequently pass well inside the BM to the point I get wet. That's my fear at this moment.

Baroclinic Zone
guess we are past the 'storm/no storm' fears of last night Time to start figuring how much at this point. Where is the best banding going to set up.
JC-CT
weather.cod.edu has a great tool to compare model runs vs. previous ones...it's just silly looking at the consistency the GFS has shown over the last 18 hours compared the NAM. Although...the GFS has slowly ticked west on each run.
mattb65
What was the farthest east 10" report yesterday in SNE I wonder if someone could score 20" in 3 days Definitely. Some parts of metro west and areas around Lexington and Concord MA were at or above 10".Even Waltham put up an 11.6" spot.
weathafella
NAM sucks. It's finding a way to open this thing up and scoot it away....you watch.
SouthCoastMA
Time to start figuring how much at this point. Where is the best banding going to set up. To my West and to my East. No I could actually see that happening, where Accordions are getting buried in N RI on a deform Band, while Messenger/King James get smoked by the CCB. HOwever the latest trends seem to suggest that this will keep ticking west just a bit. I think we are going to get croaked by the CCB.

Clinch Leatherwood
South of PYM is probably a slam dunk for that. I think so. This is a ferocious storm and nobody here has any clue it's coming as it's such short lead. I've been telling people for the last few hours, many have plans to travel all over SE MA later Saturday having no clue it's coming. NAM is really a monster hit down here in terms of overall impact. Winds are really nasty.
