usedtobe
RAP is pretty wretched for DC too Clippers are almost always about who gets in the sweet spot. The Woebegone SREF guidance suggests there is about a 1 in 7 chance of DC ending in the sweet spot. I think that's not far from the real probability of getting in the 2-4 band rather than the dusting to an inch that is the more typical DC result. mitchnick
RGEM is a little more hopeful with a slp track along the VA/NC border we're in 2 panels of 0.5-4.99 mm, so that could be anything from .04" to around .4" qpf

mitchnick
Well Tom Kierein is all in. 4-6 north and west. 1-3 in the city. personally, some mets get all snow crazy once we get a big snow and are apt to pull the trigger high idk if that forecast works out, but at this point, it's at, and more likely above, what any guidance is showing

midatlanticweather
I love how the media always wants the 2 punch! You are barely through one event and they always make it sound like the end of the world with another coming on its heels. I would love the Tom Kieren special please! Ian
sadly, for those of us in or near cities, it's very common 90% of the snow events I've seen here look like that.

Bob Chill
Not too invested in this one after the latest trends. Matt already voiced my same expectations. City folks and close in burbers should just take whatever falls and be happy. Usual suspects may have some fun. That's about it.
