Bob Chill
damn... .50 or so? Yep. DC proper is .60 Matt is right though. A chance for a little mixing early. It's an overnight deal so timing couldn't be better.

Bob Chill
even if we lost .10/.15 to mixing.... Based on the look at h5 and slp placement/track etc...it would be a pretty good thump. Pretty energetic vort. I could easily see it being +sn for a time just looking at the nam panels. It's been non-stop trending. I suppose there might be more upside but the nam is best case....for now...heh

ravensrule
Seriously?Yup he was on about 10 minutes ago and said there will be a low off the coast of VA and depends where it tracks and how fast it strengthens it can be a big storm. I know we are getting ours from a clipper so not sure exactly what he was talking about and even though he mentioned the megalopolis he was probably talking about the cities from PHL north. MDstorm
Tony Pann was not really impressed for Friday night/Saturday. However, he seemed to be happy that the higher sun angle was helping to melt the snow today. MDstorm

Ian
This is definitely your more classic screw DC type of event. But.. today's event probably makes it more likely than normal with how it impacts the flow.
