REDMK6GLI
Most models tonight close off the 500mb low in a good spot for us and form a heavy precip area over NJ that pivots through. That however rests on the low strengthening and closing off. If that doesn't happen, the RGEM could be right and send the CCB through eastern PA instead. The closing low also has to be east of you to get heavy snow from it. Was saying this yesterday. If the 500mb LP can close off as it passes under LI we can see those insane rates comparible to christmas 2002. If it does not its a couple inches. I will say if it does close off as it passes east NJ-NYC-HV-SWCT & LI could easily see 6"+. I was lucky to experience that christmas 2002 band and compare everything ive had since to it

SnoSki14
Dry slot coming through, mostly sleet/drizzle. I'm not gonna bet on the CCB tonight since it'll probably be further to my north but I'll keep my hopes up. The storm right after this, however, is getting more interesting.
