terpsnation
Drizzle here in Arlington. Kind of want the precip to stop until potential deforms come through. Hoping with the higher rates we can switch back to sleet or snow.
mattskiva
Up to 30 degrees here now, light freezing rain/sleet falling, 12" on the snow board with compaction - that is since the start without clearing it. I am guessing maybe 14-15" without compaction based on some other local reports. I am in SE Loudoun north of Manassas Battlefield.
NorthArlington101
sidewalk is shoveled, street surprisingly plowed, still a winter wonderland
nj2va
Light rain/drizzle. 35 degrees. Drip drip drip. Hard to get a solid measurement due to some drifting and compaction but I'm going with 10". Will wait to see other obs around me though.

Grothar of Herndon
28/25 freezing rain. Just went out and took measurement -- 12"
RIC_WX
A nice crusting of freezing rain being applied now. Those who rushed out to clean their cars during the little lull earlier may be disappointed with this decision soon.
ravensrule
RR, I have work colleague north of 695 between Garrison Forest School and Timonium. He texted me he is at 16.5.Wow so my measurements are correct. Nice, thank you. I hope you are enjoying this storm.
vinylfreak89
I'm actually very glad to see sleet and ptentially dryslot this far north. It means the ULL is coming in west of where even the short range models (like HRRR) have it progged and likely the deformation band will come further north/west as well, and I may have a chance at my elusive TSSN. Wind is picking up here too (Germantown/Gaithersburg line)
SomeguyfromTakomaPark
Radar is impressive down in western NC and WV. Very interested in how this plays out.

jonjon
Parked under one of the nice outer bands of snow. Probably around 13" or so. Looks like we'll have a couple hours to catch up on some of you who sprinted out to higher totals to our east. Very happy to see this overperforming out this way. Was nervous with the models not getting too much here (other than the Euro). Did the storm track more westerly than anticipated, or did the precip field just make it farther to the west? Don Cherry's Jacket
Stick fell over, but I took several measurements at 7 AM and averaged 12, even with settling. Drizzle now. Heavy, wet snow. I'm in McLean.

Mrs.J
Putting the child to work. Took quite a while to clear the drive. Took measurements in 3 different spots, 19", 18" and 19" so average to about 18.5". while shoveling steady snow switched to sleet and has let up. winterymix
Measured 5.25 at 8 this morning but hear pings by 3:00 this monring. Going with 5.5 as a storm total. Kind of expected but a disappointment that I didn't eek out more before the transition. This one of those living east sucks kind of storm. CWG did well, good decision not to trim amounts. North Balti Zen
Wow so my measurements are correct. Nice, thank you. I hope you are enjoying this storm. Pretty thrilled. Nothing to hate about this, in this kind of progressive pattern with a bootleg retreating high to the north. Damn near a winter miracle. Hope you have a great trip. Stormpc
This light wind blown rain/heavy drizzle sucks. Get it out of here. 32.0. Getting impossible to move and shovel. It's a drizzle death band from BWI down through Quantico.

BlizzardNole
Light freezing drizzle and 31 now in Germantown. Wow central NC has just taken a pounding! It's weird seeing so much snow there and in (most of) our area, while Boston is expecting 4-8" then rain all night tonight.

jacindc
I keep waiting for that southeastern edge of the line to lift past my location near the Southeast Freeway in DC, but it seems to want to stick right along the District's southeast border. Definitely don't want to shovel in the rain.
